The FileCapture module is made up of two parts: FileScan for scanning and FileCommit for manipulating the electronic document once the paper document has been scanned.
Scanning
Quickly and easily convert paper records using FileScan. With FileScan, there is no need to outsource document scanning. You can use your existing scanners and multi-function centres. FileScan combined with FileCommit provides advanced batch and image manipulation features to ensure only the highest quality and accurate records are saved in the FileOptics.
Document page separation and formatting
FileCommit allows for the separation of bulk scanned documents and indexing of these documents into FileOptics. Images can also be marked up and edited prior to being commited.
